Default USB Plugin Adapter for MP3's for Factory Nav Radio

Most people who don't own iPod and don't even care for iPhone adapters, but interested in using USB flash-drive with hundreds of MP3 files, may not even realize that the Sticky post at the top of this forum for iPod Control actually has USB Port in it.

It works great with the standard Original Factory radio with Navigator. When you plugin this adapter to your radio it pretending to be the external 6-Disc CD Changer. Each standard audio CD can hold up to 99 tracks. Therefore, this device allows you to navigate using standard buttons on the front panel of your radio through 6 x 99 = 594 MP3 Files.

That's a lot of music.

Nice gentleman by the name Rudy is currently building a set of those devices. He already build a dozens of them and successfully sold through this forum. Now for a limited time you can order yours for $299.99 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. International shipping also available (just talk to him).

If you are interested, you can read more about the device and talk to him and you can make your payment via PayPal by following this link.

Rudy must be doing really well as he seems to have hired you as his sales manager.
Nice gentleman? you must be his press agent as well.

Yup, I have about 34 hours of music on my 2 gig flash, 594 tunes in total. Really weird seeing track "99" coming up on the display.

NetC,
So; do you think this addition to the stock radio with the capacitor modification also talked about on the forum would be a good way to go? I really like this car in its stock format, so I'm thinking about these two additions.
What do you think?

Wow. For that kind of money, I'd put in a stereo with a USB port in it.

Yes maclovinX, I think for the most people that's all you really need. Of course I may get bombarded with tons of criticism for this statement, because of the lack of million other features you may have in your stereo, but for those of us who value the original look, that should suffice. Plus I really like the navigation, even better than most modern ones. Too bad the data doesn't gets updated anymore, at least I'm glad that the new streets don't get built everyday.

Oh, and for the lack of map in this Navigator: You not suppose to look away from the road anyway. It's a matter of getting used to it and just trust the voice giving you the directions. And for those cases when you actually need to search for something, a have a top of the line phone with Android System that serves perfect addition to the lack of map view in the stereo.

For that kind of money ??? You know there are lots of people among us who would pay up to a hundred thousand for car from 50's and 60's. Following your logic - for that kind of money you can get a nice modern Mercedes, yet a lot of people like classics with the original look, and even an 8-Track inside (not that it will ever be used).

Just thought I'd throw it out there that the cost is $229.99 shipped, not $299.99, in case that helps anyone with their decision.

I think NetChain is Rudys agent and the extra $70 is his commision.

Ohh, onehundred80, how sweet of you to reply with a sarcastic remark yet again... I do have sense of humor and you are funny, trust me!

You know who you also are? Cheap! Oh, please I didn't just said that. For those who don't know - I'm simply quoting his own statement from another post on the same subject. Here it is...:
It's not that I like the music, I'm just too cheap to buy anything else. I never play it anyway.
I apologize if it sounds like an insult, but again I simply repeated what you've said on your own. But here's another statement, however this time it's from me, personally! You said...:
I never play it anyway. I just like the 'option' that I could play it one day.
There's something in your statement that absolutely doesn't make any sense. If you like to keep those 6 stupid discs that came with the car, in case if you ever want to play them, then just store them in MP3 format on the device you are criticizing. This way you will get plenty of more room for more music, plus you get the option of playing what you don't like when your mood strikes.

I know you were just joking in those 2 posts. I am trying to be funny just like you

My man... One F--kin' Hundred 80, you just never quit, do you? You even give me a credit for someone else's post, by TurboDan in this case.

What is it going to take to shut the f--k you up? Giving you the half of my commission? Just give me your address and I will send you your hush-money.

Oh here's the essential element of your post !
That would make my post categorized as an innocent jock, right?

You do not get it do you, I'm joking with Rudy not you.
TurboDan corrected you, you mentioned $299. I just mentioned that the extra $70 was a commission.
Have you ever met Rudy? I and a lot of others here have.
We know about this device and all of the other accomplishments by Rudy.
If you want to drum enough orders of these units for Rudy to do another batch say so.
Calm down and don't take life so seriously.

I don't need one of these, since I replaced my stereo, but I am curious about them.

Let's just say I did need one and want to buy one. Why would I order from NetChain, and not directly from Rudy?

Tom2112, if you can order from NetChain please let me know!
Because even I don't know how to order from NetChain.

Now, my official statement: NetChain is my nick and I DO NOT SELL those NOR I can even build those. As a matter a fact I'm ordering from Rudy for myself, just like everyone else.
(Were did you get that idea anyway )
I'm sure I've mentioned Rudy's name, didn't I?

The only reason I created this tread, so that Rudy would get enough people signed-in to start ordering parts, so I will get mine faster. Building a couple of those is not economical, but it worth the effort when you build about 10 or more. So until he gets enough people committed he may not even start making them. Which means delay for me. I simply want mine sooner. That's all.

LOL! Sorry NetChain. I got the wrong impression from your post. I thought you were selling them, and that didn't make sense to me.

Good luck rounding up the numbers you need for Rudy to make another batch!
