Default Wiring aftermarket amp in base coupe

** First of all, I want to say, I have been searching for quite some time, and have not found an answer to this question (or any pictures). I am not saying it wasn't out there, but I surely could not find it. **

I am trying to add an aftermarket amp to my base coupe (already have aftermarket head unit) for some subwoofers. I am wondering if anyone can help let me know where they ran the RCAs, power, remote, etc. through the car to the rear. I am sure there are many options, this is why I would like to see how different people have done it. Also, pictures would be GREAT. I also understand that there is a rubber grommet directly behind the battery that is a great passthrough to the passenger side footwell? I have a long weekend of box fabricating and wiring ahead of me and this info would really help me out. Thanks in advnace guys.

Yep big rubber grommet under the battery shelf(you'll have to take the battery and shelf out to get to it).

With an aftermarket head unit just run the remote to it on either side really. (for reference, I'm going to assume you're putting the amp in the back).

Power wire through grommet and run it down the pax side. Rcas down the driver side.

I didn't go to the head unit, but if you pull the panel by the drivers knee out it should be easy. Just turn the screw on the vent 90 degrees to pop the vent off to reveal a screw. Once that's out you just have to slide the panel out from behind the console.

That should get you most of the way. it's just a matter of pulling the carpet panels on both sides of the wall up to run wires through the gaps at the top left and right of the wall (remove all the tabs along the carpet panels as necessary to get the carpet up enough to work your wires through).

Good luck

Danhaman thanks a lot for the luck, I got the deck and ipod interface installed and as I want them, guess i am going to have to wait till next weekend to do the amp wiring.
