Please only answer the first 3 options ONLY if you have ALREADY replaced your siren.*
thanks!!

Re: Does factory alarm CHIRP after replacing siren?!
after installing my radio shack buzzer my alarm siren failed. I had it replaced and the new one chirps. I will tell you that they are both still hooked up and the siren chirp is no louder than the radio shack buzzer. It is a little higher pitch. I left it hooked up because they alternate between the two.
Re: Does factory alarm CHIRP after replacing siren?!
I'd like to answer, but I bought the new siren/alarm (5124443AA), but I was sent a 5124443AB.
Before I take apart the cowl cover and wrestle with the windshield wiper arms, can anyone who has replaced their siren if the 5124443AB will fit the car?
Notice the bolt rather than a bolt hole in the picture-I would gather that if the original is attached by a detachable bolt than this will work if I buy a nut.
Any input as to whether it will fit?

Re: Does factory alarm CHIRP after replacing siren?!
I have replaced mine with the AA siren and yes it does chirp no i would call it more of a soft tone when you lock and unlock and it is very nice it has been in the 30's here and the tone still sounds the same...veloce i still have'nt heard from our faithfull friends at chrysler i will give them another try in the morning.. fair warning with the AA siren not available anymore the AB siren is considerably more expensive.....
