Default Inexpensive Replacement Head Unit with Aux in for Audio Player

I will replace my OEM head unit if I find an inexpensive one that I can plug in my Sansa Fuze audio player. I mostly want to listen to audio books when traveling. I have an FM transmitter but it pretty much sucks.I am an ignoramus when it comes to car stereo and would appreciate any comments regarding this cheap Blaupunkt head unit I saw on Ebay (or any other head unit recommendations) for my 2007 Limited Coupe. The Blaupunkt does have silver trim and may not look too bad.

I had best buy put in a JVC mosfet-amp cd w/ aux-in,
but all the bass disappeared (when compared to the stock in-dash unit)!

I had them rip it out when the kid could not cure the problem.

I have this same JVC in my Stratus and it sounds fine there . . .
