Default can somebody help ID this part??

** PICTURES ATTACHED BELOW **

hello! today I was cleaning the wheels on my 2004 crossfire. When I reached the driver sides rear wheel I noticed something odd. I found a pretty rusted/corroded tube that looks like it connects to the brakes. the tube is located right above the brake rotor, a tad further into the car.

I’m guessing it’s the brake line?? I went over to the other rear wheel and that line is in much better condition.

can anybody tell me what this part exactly is?

has as anybody on here ever had this replaced??

any my info would be greatly appreciated :-) thank you!!!

Could it be the brake pad wear sensor?

Emergency brake cable?
I have now seen the pics in your gallery and concur with James1549s opinion it is the sway bar.

You need to put a light on the object. It is hard to see but looks like the sway bar?

I thought that this part was a rubber black hose, however its actually metal.

I see people saying it may be the sway bar? has anyone here had a sway bar replaced before?

We still need better pics to see exactly what is going on and what is broke or missing.

thanks for your reply. here is the best picture I can take (it gets tricky angling the camera that far into the wheel)

thanks to you guys, I'm almost 100% certain that the mystery part is the sway bar.

it looks pretty corroded & rusted.. there also looks to be a hole protruding through which worries me.

the 2 other smaller arm pieces that connect this black bar to wheel look to be in fine shape.

would you guys recommend replacing this rear sway bar before something goes very wrong?

thanks for all your time! :-) -Matthew
