Default Battery vent trap

I am looking for a battery vent trap. Part number 000 541 00 63
I went to Mercedes with this number and they said that it didn't correlate to o anything... I'm assuming that the part must now be obsolete.. Does anyone know where I could get one of these?
I've added a photo of one that I found on an old thread in this forum.

Many new cars have the battery in the trunk and the vent is a hose that diverts the gases and any acid to the outside of the car. This may be a viable solution with the little hose venting beneath the car rather than using the vent/trap.

Yea, saw that kit on Amazon for about $6, but after reading up on AGM batteries, most seem to think I do not need a vent.
Anyone have an opinion otherwise ?

( but hey, for $6 I think I'll do it anyway just for grins )

I still have that trap from my old Varta battery and I have just had to replace the Vartas replacement as it failed over the winter in the garage, with just two years on it. I got a AGM battery and I fitted the trap to it. Sure it should not leak but the gases will still be there and maybe some moisture as it breathes due to heat and the electro chemical process etc. I'll make sure there is a plug is in the other end of the battery as well.
That Varta still holds a charge very well, they are excellent batteries, it was made in 2004. It makes me wonder why I replaced it in the first place, as it never showed any sign of weakness.
