Ansa UN0827 Mufflers Anyone?
Ansa UN0827 Mufflers Anyone?
I'm thinking about getting an Ansa muffler for my SRT6 convertible. There were some group buys a few years back. Since then, the Ansa UN0827 has become unavailable or at least very difficult to locate.
I have been in touch with Classiche Exhaust who sell Ansa systems for classic Italian cars.
They can get the Ansa UN0827, but only shipped directly from Italy.
The price has gone up a bit since a few years ago.
Shipped to me from Italy to Massachusetts will be $283 plus $100 shipping.
They are willing to deduct 10% for group buys of at least 5 and 25% for group buys of at least 10.
It is expensive for only a muffler, but it sounds like no other.
If anyone is at all interested please let me know.
The person I've been in contact with from Classiche is Eric Reishus.
Classiche Exhaust LLC - The official US, Canada and South America distributor for CLASSICHE, the only exhaust systems made in Italy with the original and correct "ANSA Marmitte s.r.l." dies, proper materials and historical documentation.

Re: Ansa UN0827 Mufflers Anyone?
If any of you do purchase the Ansa be sure to look at my thread here if you choose to keep the OEM tips and the OEM look
I can also confirm that this Ansa muffler does have a great sound on our Crossfires
Ansa Muffler Modification - OEM Tips
Here is a sound clip when it was first installed and before I did the OEM tip modification.
Sound is the same with either tips but I preferred the OEM look better

Re: Ansa UN0827 Mufflers Anyone?
Thanks Valk,
I've been wanting to do this since seeing your posts from years ago. I've had a muffler from base Crossfire sitting in my garage for a couple years. I got it for the tips. At first I thought I would cut off my muffler and keep it intact with the tips.
I'd like to keep the stock SRT6/AMG exhaust intact and put it on the shelf. So, I am on the hunt for an SRT6 exhaust from the cat back to use and modify.
