Life is WAY too short to sell a wonderful car so cheap.

I sold my first one out of fear over my job - won't do THAT again (got a better job at 44% more money a few months after selling the damn car!)

I have started looking at buying a BMW 135i, which then led me to look at KBB for my cars worth:
157,XXX miles (62,000 when I bought it in July 2012)
Good condition
2004 Limited 6spd grey
$2500-2900 for a private sale
$1000-2900 for a trade-in

I will keep my Xf as my daily after seeing these figures, and just run it to the ground, plus I love the car to death and its very good in winter with winter tires.
Then, when the engine dies, it will become electrified.

The 135i will be me baby/garage queen/only sunny days car.

I had a similar experience.

In between positions with a kid's tuition payment due. The only way to raise enough funds was to sell my 1979 TVR 3000S, one of 150 produced world wide and probably the lowest mileage in the nation. The buyer still has it about a decade and half later.

About fourteen weeks later another payment was due.

Sorry for resurrecting a five-year-old thread… I just bought a 2004 Limited automatic with 36,000 miles for $4200. Not sure if this is rock bottom but as a buyer I am thankful for the low prices and I expect Well kept low mileage examples to appreciate in value eventually. 76,000 units over five years doesn’t seem like too many to me and I think a lot of them have gone to the crusher already. I also have a 1967 Ford Mustang CoupE and I think they made almost 475,000 mustangs for that year. In the 1980s they weren’t worth very much at all but nowadays nice examples of C code cops are going for over $30,000 regularly. Our cross fires are a great deal more rare and they were only made for a short period of time. I have no intention of ever selling my crossfire and I might like to buy another one or two in the future so I’m not too concerned about prices but I think this is one of the best looking cars made since the 1967 Mustang fastback and I believe the world will come to appreciate them as they become more scarce.

Good find.

According to my insurance company with their 1st offer, value is

$124.60

I been looking to buy several around that price, but not luck so far.
I would even offer $150

Tell them you don't want to settle unless they find you a replacement .
