Default Wheel Size options?

I am looking to buy new AMG wheels for my 05 limited coupe next year. These are what I really like. Power Wheels Pro :: WHEELS for your PREMIER car
Notice they only come in 18x8.5/9.5 or 20x8.5/9.5 with +35mm offset. Here is my question. I want to keep the two size wheel look, so I would have to go with 18" front and 20" rear, in this case. Will 18x8.5 running 235/35/18, 235/40/18, 245/35/18 fit the front. My car is not lowered and I have heard using wheel spacers can mess with the suspension. Being that these wheels are +35mm offset I don't think it would be too big of a problem on the front since the OEM wheels are +35mm as well. For the rear I would like to use the 20x8.5 running 275/30/20 or 275/35/20. Now OEM rear offset is +22mm on a 19" wheel. Would these 20" with the +35mm offset cause a problem with suspension, rubbing the wheel well, or some other concern that I might not be aware of yet. Would there be a way I could use the wheels in the sizes that they offer. Thanks

Check with Rob at needswings.com, he has 18/19 in that same wheel for $750 shipped.

First off thanks for you insight this has really been the first right direction someone has sent me to. Unfortunately the pictures of that AMG wheel Rob from NeedsWings had in that link you posted, were all one color. Those are just a little different from the ones I am interested in. Don't get me wrong those are very nice too and might be a last resort if it comes down to it. The ones you are talking about I think are these ones from that same power wheels pro website. AMG Style 818 and not the 815. 818 are all aluminum in color while the 815 are two tone with a machined face. Although these ones do come in 18" and 19" like you stated so that is a big plus. Power Wheels Pro :: WHEELS for your PREMIER car I will try to PM NeedsWings and see if he has any info. Thanks a bunch though really helped me out.

After looking again I think I might just go with those ones Rob had pictures of. They come in the sizes I needed and I just realized they are not one solid color instead they are a two tone machined face which is what I am really after.

YOU WILL NEED A SPACER IN THE REAR..10MM OR 15MM WOULD WORK WELL. YOU CAN GET THEM FROM...Wheel Spacers | eibach.com/america THEY ARE HUBCENTRIC.

Thanks for the reply. Just so we are on the same page a 18x8.5 would fit the front, what size tire would you recommend on that wheel on the front and there is not rubbing even when sharp turing? A 20x9.5 @ +35mm offset would fit the rear with the 10-15mm spacer, what size tire would you recommend on that rim 275/30? 285/30? and no rubbing of course? Lastly the stock center bore size is 66.5mm correct? these wheels I want to get are 66.6mm I don't think that 0.1mm difference will do any harm. thanks again

275 on the rear will work 30 or 35, you will need hubcentric rings for the front, the spacers in the rear are hubcentric and they fit perfectly. Without the rings you will never get it centered just right. It will give you the out of balance feel.

Ok I know I sound like a broken record but I want to very sure before I go any further and realize I can't return the wheels or tires. My 05' limited coupe all stock brakes, rotors, you name it. The fronts will have the 18x8.5 with a 235/40/18 tire, hub centric rings to reduce the vibrations and no spacer needed because the offset is +35mm (same as OEM). For the rear, 19x9.5 with a 275/30/19 or 275/35/19 tire what would you suggest 30 vs. 35 and a 10-15mm spacer to help with the offset because these wheels are +35mm while stock is +22mm. How does that sound, everything look good. thanks for the help
