Not all cops are bad
Re: Not all cops are bad
yes, he stated he used plastic ties on the fuel filter install. I guess one broke. All that catalytic heat, definitely lucky it didn't ignite. Larry knows the ignition point of gasoline. I don't recall, but I would think the converters would be hot enough.
Dave, you like to push buttons, but sometimes you don't like what comes back at you. Maybe you should rethink your approach if you don't like the come back. I managed 35 yrs in law enforcement without any write ups or complaints. I even won 3 elections before they had enough of me... All cops shouldn't be thrown in one basket. There are good and bad in every profession. I am sure this is true in Canada. Having been forced into retirement, I'm not happy with the politics of it all, but it treated me well for a long time.

I was adding to a comment made by someone else, you should remember as you commented on a reply to it. He said most cops and I said some, big difference but you and your firefighting buddy decided to pick on me. The way you picked on me I guess you could be one of the 'some'.

Eh, I think it's just you tend not to notice the good ones. The middle school bully on a power trip hiding behind a badge on the other hand... He's kind of hard to miss.
I've dealt with both, that's for sure. I'm the "Yes officer. Yes sir. Thank you. Have a nice day" guy when I'm dealing with LEOs, their job is difficult and dangerous enough as it is. I've still been yelled at, cursed at, accused of lying, accused of being drunk... And that was just in one routine traffic stop on my way to work on a Tuesday morning. Most of the other run-ins (both traffic stops, and stupid teenage things)I don't remember much about, because everything progressed in a perfectly professional and reasonable manner.
