What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Over the last few days, new plugs and wires, adjust the fuel pressure, changes super charge bearing, what racing, rather 10.87 a backup to my 10.85, hit a duck Doing 85 mph on my way to JS Benz.did not stop to look to see what damage there was, when I got to the shop I found that the doc had hit right on the edge of the hood lots of feathers in the grill, lots of feathers stuck to the windshield, don't think I killed it because it flew around and tried to drop poop on my car, but it missed lol now had to wash the car for the second time in two hours.jim

not everyone waits until retirement,,,,because then you only have a few years to enjoy this weather. you see I have lived in Florida, most of my life, and now I am retired. well from third grade up, so I really don't know what it's like to go through an entire winter, without driving my car.when in the Air Force I was in Rapid City North Dakota in the middle of the winter, but was young and didn't know any better. To me anything below 80 is cold. In fact I don't even own a jacket. So I don't put myself away or I don't put my car away for the winter or should I say what winter. Florida, Florida and South Florida at that is the only way to fly.Like right now it is 84° outside, very low humidity. What else could you ask for. Don't forget our temperature change is only 15°, that means tonight slow will be no lower than 69°. And just think if it's 72 tonight it will be 87 tomorrow. That's how it works in South Florida, just in case Rudy reads this,,, Rudy U coming down again? You don't have to wait until it snows you know,,,,jim

I was at Ellsworth AFB in SOUTH DAKOTA back in 1972-1976. Nice assignment. I know the military moves around a lot BUT I don't recall them moving a whole base and local city (Rapid City) to another state. He he he he, minor slip o the keys, I sometimes say South Dakota when speaking of my current state of South Carolina, so it is quite understood.....

I do not go out too much in the winter here. If I lived in Florida I would not get out much in the summer.

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
57 degrees and sunny today equals top down. Went for a beautiful fall cruise, it was quite enjoyable. Suppose to be 65 and partly cloudy Wednesday so hopefully the top comes down then also. Like Itsky I am not planning on cocooning it for winter, it will be garaged but if it's dry and the roads are snow and salt free I will get it out. The top will probably stay up but that's OK. If we have an extended periods of snow, ice and salty roads I will probably be here whining about it. I will try and keep it to a minimum but, you have been forewarned.

Help!
Mine left me stranded for a few hours, I went out after a cup of coffee it cranked and died, the lights worked fine no warning lights came on, I noticed my fob would not open the door locks or do anything so I thought it was bad, got a ride home got my spare key came back tried to jump it and like I said turned the key and NOTHING, both fobs were dead, when I turned the key all the electrical works fine, turn the key to start and NOTHING, not starter clicking noise like low battery.
I tried to jump it and nothing, so I disconnected the negative post waited 45 seconds reconnected the battery post and she started.
I drove around no lights on dash so no codes, took the top up and down turned on air nothing like a week battery would act like, but not sure about these cars.
The mystery was the FOB was dead, could the alarm system lock the car down, if so what would do this?
Sad, I have been sick for a few weeks, weathers been bad now its 82 degrees and she is sitting in the garage!
I am gun shy, I know someone has had this issue and if you can steer me in the right direction I would appreciate it, also I did the sticky key fix the first week I owned the car so I ruled that out.
HELP!
PLEASE HELP ME
