What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
"a few"... LOL... Very nice!
I finally got my parts back from the shop. Decided it was time to ditch the light tan interior for something a little more... Cozy....

It's bright, hence my title to the mod description as "Showtime".

Finally after nearly two years I turned the switches for the power windows around. They had been upside down all the time I have owned the car.
I even thought of doing the ignition switch mod, nah ......... tomorrow. I have the new pump for the IC to add as well.
I saw V2addict at Woodward trying to turn his key, it finally turned but that is a long way from home to get that problem.

I had purchased a roll ..16ft if I remember for like $18 on Amazon for some lighting in my truck. I just used the leftover which I had about 10ft left. U can either solder the wires on the end after you decide how long you want iy or just purchase some slide on clips which make it so much easier. I wired them to the stock lighting fixture and thats about it. The strip comes with a self addhisive so its just a matter of prepping the surface and peel off the tape and sticking it where you want. Entire procedure took around 20 minutes.

Correction. We traded in her car, then somehow she took my keys, daily, and wanted nothing to do with the car we just purchased.
So now I'm driving a Mazda5, with a stick of course. And she has my roadster.
As a trade off I'm modding the hell outta that van. Already have a short shifter and rear sway bar, next up are Koni yellows and H&R lowering springs.

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Cosmetically one of the worst things on my car when I purchased her was the center wheel cap on the front passenger wheel. The silver paint was peeling in several spots and even though I tried touching it up it still looked like crap. I found a clean used one on ebay and it arrived yesterday, popped the old one off and the new one on. Problem solved.
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
I installed a new (well..not new..bought off ebay) alarm siren. Now I have the screeching siren AND 1 chirp/3 chirp. fairly easy job using the pdf from the forum.
ALSO ... changed out my key fob to a new case using the pdf from here. That "little" job took about 2 hours, and my old fob case now looks like it was in a blender. Oh Well .... new one looks good and works .... color me happy!!!
Next up is changing the filters in the intake and the cabin filter .....maybe tomorrow or the next, or the next.........
Truthfully ... my Crossie is getting boring ... EVERYTHING works as it should ... nothing to do on it ........ YET !!!!!

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
I removed my headliner and sent it to an upholstery shop to get redone. They had the exact color match material in stock, just enough to do one headliner.
While I had the headliner out, I decided to finally install the Homelink garage door opener I bought a couple of years ago. It was an easy install, linking into the ground and the power wire from the overhead light. Nice that it works without the ignition having to be on.
Almost done outfitting the base coupe exactly as I would have if given the chance of ordering specific options:
Fog lights
SRT wheels
Leather seats
Home Link
Two things left:
1. SRT front bumper
2. stereo amp and sub woofers
