Put on the brushed aluminum dash trim kit...
Thought it would have given it "a cheap" look...
But actually gave it more color n more to look at.

crossfireracr - do you have any pics? I was admiring the brushed aluminum trim on the steering wheel and thought that would look good on the dash...

I took ours to the hospital (Caliber Collision in Webster/Houston)...not impressed with the service so far. After having to make an appointment to get the car evaluated today instead of Thursday, they made me wait an extra 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment, AND said it would be 10-12 days before the repairs can be made. Have to source the parts, and wouldn't let me source them, even though I found everything we needed...

The weather has finally warmed up and I spent about five hours finally detailing Natascha today doing a full clay bar, two polishes, glaze, waxing, engine bay detail, and Adams Polishes VRT on the seals and tires. I know remember while I love Graphite Grey...

Five hours? You must have done a rushed job, that would take me two days. Looking good.

..... and get those weeds out before the neighbors complain.

Finally finished polishing and correcting all of my 6's little blemishes and she's looking better than ever!

Left side finished, door untouched

All done!

While I was at it, I had a hydrographics shop work some magic on my windshield trim. The trick part is, the trim just looks black from afar... but close up!

The stock pieces took some hard miles prior to me and started to peel so I figured, why not?

Looks very good, post some pictures with it all together and complete.

I went the hydrographics on my surround as well, I like it with the CF hood and graphite paint, it all goes together until you get close, then it hits you

Yesterday morning I went to go to my Volunteering job out at the base and 'click click click click'... Spoiler went up and down like a yo-yo... So, today I got the wally-world everstart MAXX H6 for $99.87 (Made by Johnson Controls and a slew of great CR reviews on this brand). Got it home, put it on a charger overnight and will install it in the morning. The date code on the OEM one was June 07 so it lasted almost 6 years. It was due, and I was not going to risk getting stranded on the side of the road. Oh, the battery is rated at 730CCA, and it is a 3 yr replacement free and 7 yr pro-rated!

Finally got a quote back from Caliber Collision...only took 5 days!!! $4,473.66 to replace the hood, grille, front bumper cover, one headlight (?) and paint to match...looking around to see what else I can do. Might install all the parts myself, and have someone paint it....

Wow... just a quick memory shopping list... 2 grand in parts without taking time to find a decent deal..

Guess 2,400 could buy some paint too..

Actually, the parts were quoted at (trumpet): $3,078.60...I had sourced most of them (minus the headlight) at $1,729, minus shipping...

Well then I'd say not bad for quick recall on ebay pricing.. I know Allstate just cut us a check on the deer hit with the Tahoe.. no questions or pics or anything showing it fixed.. made about $900 bucks out of the deal.. my repair rates are ridiculous ... LOL
