Since the new buyers are picking up my Crossfire next week, I detailed the engine bay, clay bar'd, buff, polish, and waxed it. I will detail the interior tomorrow, and it will be ready for the new owners.

Wash, clay bar, first coat of Zaino, deleted shabby looking Chrysler badges from wheel caps. This poor car had a hard life before I got my hands on it - lots of small rock chips, couple of scrapes and a few door dings to attend to, but we're moving in the right direction.

It always bugged me that one of the holes through the cowl for the windshield wiper shafts lacked the rubber isolator. So I purchased two new ones and fitted them.

The hole where the part was missing was too small and so it was required to be opened up larger. The existing hole that is the correct size is out of position, the whole cowl fitting at the factory was f'd up from day one.

I took some pictures of the under side of the cowl and I will show them later.

Went to Firestone to have a not so slow leak fixed. The tech said the tire had a nail on the edge of the tread and a screw in the sidewall, therefore it could not be repaired. I inquired about a new tire, a Continental Contisport...he said it would take anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks to get it... he went on to tell me he had a Bridgestone Potenza available in town, he could get it delivered in a half hour. I asked him how much it cost...OMG!!

It was a good day here in Colorado. My recently acquired SRT-6 roadster received some much needed performance upgrades today. From a bone-stock SRT-6 engine we managed to put in a Needswings dual cold air intake (silver, thermal coated), Needswings oil catch can (painted silver), latemodel21's pulley wrap kit, Rudy's 62mm SC pulley, and I managed to apply the Eurocharged tune.

The roadster now howls like it should. The engine bay needs a serious clean up, but that is to be expected after having the stock intake... Special thanks to the Colorado Crossfire Club members John, Robert, Tom, and Doug for helping out today!

And the current rear tires are not even sufficient to handle the upgrades.
