What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
My prayers are certainly with your family and especially your daughter coolx.
Today I pulled the weather stripping from the bottom of my doors to check for rust. It's not rust free but it looks pretty good, the passenger side has a little bit right in the middle of the door. The drivers side had the worst spot with some flaking at the door jam side right were it curves around the bottom. Cleaned both sides really well and scrapped the worst off, then I applied two coats of 3m rust converter, after everything was dry I masked the area and sprayed a good coat of spray bed liner all along the bottom of both doors. I will keep an eye on it, hopefully it does the trick.

Are there drain holes that could get blocked with the truck bed liner spray?

I did not see any drain holes in the u-shaped channel that holds the weather stripping. I am not sure drain holes along the bottom of the channel would solve the problem. The weather stripping basically just snaps into the channel and moisture gets behind the rubber and has no where to go. At the same time there is no air circulation to help it dry. There are some rubber plugs on the bottom of the doors but these have nothing to do with the channel, I left them alone but avoided them with the bedliner.

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
I drove my daughter in the Crossfire to her mother's (my ex-wife) funeral. I was starting to install the angel eyes on the drivers side, but my work got put on the back burner, because I had to take my ex to the hospital, eleven days later she died. I've been driving my car around without the grille and headlight because, between going to the hospital and being there for my daughter I haven't had time to finish it. My son in-law calls my car the "one eyed jack". For those in the forum who believe in the power of prayer, please pray for my daughter that she is strong during her time of grieving, thank you.

I went over to Steve's yesterday and we installed a set of NW Cutout / Downpipes on the Crossfire. Now I just need to fix a minor leak and it will be good to go.
The fit and design is fantastic. Everything bolted up like OEM with perfect placement of attachment points, o2 sensors, cutout covers, etc. Rob did a terrific job designing and building them.

I did nothing to my Crossfire except pack for my trip to alaxfire's house in the early morning. BUT, I did detail my wife's new ride:
I bought everything we'll be using at Amazon. Shipped together for free.

I've been busy with the new roadster over the past few months:
- Transmission issue fixed by replacing the conductor plate including complete transmission fluid flush and fill
- Brake issue resolved by completely flushing the brake fluid
- LED-lit Windrestrictor installed with "glow module"
- LED license plate lights installed
- Map lights replaced with blue LEDs
- DCAI and oil catch can ordered from Rob @Needswings

Damn, you've been busy and that's a lot of nice goodies!
For me, I only installed a new tune.
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Installed the EC tune today on the roadster. No complaints with the stock performance upgrade. I also applied the 303 products to the top today and it is looking much, much nicer. Pulley kit ordered from LateModel21 as well.
