Anthony, please keep us posted, I have been putting off putting them in my aftermarket rims, but for that cheap, if any old shop can do it, let us know. Thanks.

If you do a quick search, the "main" thread on them makes it look like this is an issue.. I've got at least one that drops out for about a week then comes back online. Don't know if it's just sticking or what.. but I do know being an 04 model replacements are just around the corner. Google search shows people that have gotten them programmed seem to love them.

Did you remove the manifold in order to do this?

No, just cleaned it with lacquer thinner and masked off around it.
I applied a silver primer coat, then the silver wheel paint ( 2 coats )

The new TPS I bought was not needed. The tire shop used a programmer that connected to the OBD port to get rid of my CEL.

OK, stupid question time. What does the TPS system have to do with a CEL?

I use "CEL" as a generic for a light that illuminates on the dash, when it in fact was not a check engine light. I should have written that the "TPS" light or whatever it's called was no longer illuminated.

Thanks! Yeah, I wasn't really feeling the big red tail lights, so I "reshaped" them lol. A little VHT nightshades and some masking tape did the trick nicely. It's amazing how much the VHT looks like black paint with a few good coats
