今、日本の夏は暑いですね。日中に運転中に外気温を面白い写真に撮りました。ATF

4. ECU
がリセットされるまで少なくとも2分待ちます

It's hot in summer in Japan right now. I took a funny photo of the outside temperature while driving during the day.

After replacing the ATF and resetting the learning function, my car is running better. Please try it.
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.

Today I took the XF for a short road trip to Luling and Lockhart, TX. Luling is home to what is currently the largest Buc-ee's in the US and Lockhart is the BBQ capital of TX. On the way over and back I was on Texas SH 130 which is one of our high-speed toll roads. SH 130 has a posted speed limit of 85 mph: that is more of a guideline.

One of several BBQ icons that date back to the early 1900's

Notice there is a BBQ theme to this trip

Not today, but Sunday I drove about up to Montague, NJ for a cruise night that's just starting out. My friend and forum member willyp invited me up.
It was a small gathering, but like I said it's just starting out and I'm sure it will grow as word gets out.
I took a main highway up there. There was a lot of traffic on the way back so I took the back roads. They were a blast to drive on! Many twists, straights and no traffic!
Here are some pictures from Sunday:

Willyp's 2005 SRT6.

My 2006 base roadster

Scratch built Rat Rod

A small turnout, but great people!

This was actually a VW Jetta!

Long story made short: I saw a black roadster in my town. I was looking for it for a while then I saw it at a store while I was in my truck. I chased him down, turns out he had seen my roadster and was looking for me! LOL
Both cars are 2006. It turns out we live less than a mile away and became friends and I helped him replace his broken tail light.
Guess who showed up at the local cruise night? LOL (My car is on the right).

Replaced fuel pump and filter on my SRT coupe last night. Put it up on the hoist six weeks ago but it’s been so damned hot I’ve lacked motivation. Emission test for plates coming up so finally got after it.

Never seen a base and limited parked next to each other before. The differences jumped right-out at me.

It's a small world for black roadsters! If you were in NJ it would have been triplets! LOL

I was trying to keep the story short but here's something else... We're both named John but he spells his without the h.
It's like a Twilight Zone episode!

I can't imagine how hot it was! I don't blame you for the lack of motivation.
Best of luck to you!

It would be cool to have all three roadsters together. An SRT6, a Limited and a Base. Then we could really compare all of the differences.
