What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
While packing up for the Crossfire Fall ToD / Fontana Lodge Weekend, I discovered that the hatch support struts were loosing the capability to support the hatch in the open position. I had moved the Coupe to the end of our driveway while re-arranging cars, and the hatch would not stay open while parked on the sloping surface. So Roberta & I spent the weekend at Fontana Lodge having to hold the hatch open when we wanted to gain access to the area below. (Note: If I parked on a somewhat level surface, the hatch struts would support the hatch in the open position. So I knew the strut cylinders were just beginning to enter the failure mode.) Late yesterday, the new replacements strut cylinders arrived via Amazon and we installed these earlier today. Oh what a difference!! Cost me $21.19 for the pair (incl sales tax) with free shipping from Amazon Prime.

In Canada
2 key fobs
Brand new
The parts manager cut me a deal because I waited so long.(A year)
Up until today there felt like little chance of ever getting them. I really needed a fob so to me it was priceless.
I’ve worked with this dealer a long time and they had been really supportive with parts for my conversion
It’s a good relationship (they are a chrysler dealer but they are NOT a stealer ship)
Relationship with the dealer resulted in a Great deal for me. Unfortunately I cannot share actual price but was under $650 per fob

Finally...removed the loose cap from the passenger side fog light. Used the needle nose plier method to extract the loose cap. Also replaced both fog light bulbs. Now, just waiting for Needswings to send me replacement panels to cover the openings on both sides. Yes, I'm slow to replace those, too.

Well Friday I changed the oil and filter. Yesterday I replaced the spark plugs, all twelve of them, Ahhhhhh. Used the hose puller pliers from Harbor freight and a short wobble extension, removed coil packs to make more room. Went with the NGK Iridium IX. She's purring like a kitten.

I’ve lost 4 of these covers and it never dawned on me.

I started with a strip over the latch, then I thought I might as well go all around.
Maybe I should do a ‘How To’ and get it made into a sticky. 🙄

Bought Black Gorilla Tape and taped up the covers...great idea above^^^. Taped up the 2inch tear in the leather drivers seat bolster...hey, it was worn pretty bad when I got it..(black srt).
Parked the Aero Blu roadster out in the yard with a For Sale sign on it....no hurry, it still needs a couple of things done to it.

I've got to look at these on my 2007 Coupe.
