Put new front brakes and wipers on, I was surprised how easy and cheap it was compared to my 98 caddy. I love working on this car lol, everything is so straightforward and nothing is severely corroded. I just went with Autozone brand Duralast pads and rotors, nothing fancy, but good. Got Bosch Icon wipers...

New Rain-X Latitude wipers and polished the exhaust tips. Replaced the cabin air filter with a charcoal filter. Vacuumed the interior and sprayed it with enzyme + bacteria based odor remover (my car had been stored for 6 months before I bought it).

Got the first wave on detailing done to the engine compartment...actually it all shined up rather quickly after a year of no love.
had to laugh, the detail guy that replaced me is quite the know it all one upper kind of guy. Was practacally insisting that I paint my intake manifold cause "that stuff never shines up-I know, my race truck..blah blah do it my way!" I got mine shining after only 30 minutes by hand.....some people

Today the tuning cable and CM30 arrived. It took me an hour or so to install it and now the XF drives without losing power. I also noticed the temp gauge is now slightly below the halfway mark, which lower than before.
My HE arrived today also, so I'll plan on installing it this weekend. Hopefull I can get Eurocharged to tune me in the next couple of days.
One last thing, it appears my mechanic was a little rough on the crankshaft seal during the pulley install, as it's sprung a leak. In hindsight, I guess I should have replaced the seal when the pulley was swapped, but that's water under the bridge now.
