What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
replaced a couple camber bolts, and learned a bit more about how she was mistreated in the past. I knew she had been wrecked, and a replacement "A" arm doesn't bother me, but when a reputable Body shop reuses bent bolts?
anyone have a spare Camber adjustment bolt? I bought a 2 bolt kit months back it came with 3, now I need one more.

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Hey guys! I'm new here though I've had my crossfire a while. Not sure how to (or if I can) start a new thread/post yet, so hopefully this fits here and is mostly on topic! : )
Anyways I have an '05 limited roadster and just wondered if my alarm was supposed to chirp, honk, or otherwise when it's set off??? If I hit my panic button, or say reach over and open the door from the inside (when it's activated) the alarm goes off, but there is no noise...the lights flash but that's it. Just wondered if it's supposed to make noise when the alarm is triggered (i.e honk, chirp, something...) or not, like I say as of now all that happens is the lights keep flashing for a while and that's it. I know they weren't designed to chirp or honk when you lock the car or anything, but thought it should maybe at least honk when the alarm or panic button was triggered. As it is now I have to turn the car completely on to get any sort of sound out of the horn, even when the alarm is triggered. Wondered if maybe something was disabled or whatever and wanted to make sure it's just doing what it supposed to...or not supposed to! Thanks! : )

Hey Urban...with all those stops you are sure to find enough great backdrops for you ride to fill at least and 18 month calendar!!
From San Francisco south down the Coast Highway alone you’ll get half a dozen pics. I recommend as you are heading south, hit Santa Cruz and Capitola, right next door.
Then down the 101south to Montery and Carmel. unless you stay on the 101 to Santa Barbara and Ventura. From there follow the Coast Hwy again through Malibu and Santa Monica. Then off to Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Newport Beach, then Laguna Beach. In California...Life’s a Beach!!
Happy trails, and dress light. It’s over 100 in So Cal. The Ferry Building San Francisco
Santa Monica Beach
The Pyramid Building, San Francisco
Alcatraz Island from above. I’m also a private pilot and got this shot on a recent flight over the bay
Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco
Hotel Del Coranado, San Diego. The jewel of the Pacific.

Good luck on the trip, remember you come from a socialist country that is classed as a security threat so watch what you say.

Wow. Cool place
Drive on Beach. I just couldn’t bring myself to roll onto the sand.
Thanks for the caution but all we meet are amazing, friendly people.
No surprise because we’re in an awesome country.
POLRBEAR ran great
S/C loved the cool air

Another 300 mile day in the book. The change in handling noticeable, Steering is lighter and not an all day battle, yet still takes a curve nicely.
The stock camber is nice, and the extra from the bent bolt made off ramps Really Fun, but I can't keep buying a new set of tires on the way home.

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Replaced the crankshaft position sensor with a Bosch 0261210170 bought on amazon.
This was my first time doing it and the instructions from onehundred80 (revised 2/04/17) helped a lot. Thanks!
Everything worked great when I was finished.
In fact, it seems like I no longer hear a small ticking sound from the engine. I don't think I'm imagining "not hearing" that. The old cps that I removed appears to be an original Chrysler part. The old part: Chrysler A 003 153 28 28 11-T280 with a Chrysler symbol plus “Made in Germany” on it. The old part doesn't have Bosch or Mercedes on it. But if you google Chrysler A 003 153 28 28 11-T280 you get a Mercedes cps.
I've had the car for a year. It has 65,000 miles on it. No need for you to say it...I should have replaced the cps a year ago!

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
same thing I do most days, put 250 more miles on it.
side note pulled into a McDonalds in Normal IL, and parked next to a red Roadster. went to say hello to the owner sitting inside the store, but he didn't even acknowledge me when I said something to him. (must have been a good book he was reading.) Oh well.
