What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Yes with my hands (I got strong hands). I just need to try/mess with it some more. It starting getting late and was holding the light with my teeth. Ha ha.
It might help with the rear section to not want to pop out if I actually put the little clips in. Doh.
Other than my stupidity the top fits perfect and looks great.

Replaced the Skreem module and transponder ring on the roadster . Thanks to Rob at Needswings for supplying us with a plug n play replacement. Took about 90 minutes, but could have ben done much faster. Had my Skreem module replaced on the coupe several years ago by the dealer before Rob started selling them.
I really appreciate all the valuable information on this form and those who contribute.

Bagged the car body again today
Retreated the top with a light mist of 303 fabric protectant in a crisscross pattern in 70 degree sunlight.
It curing outside now all day in the sun with a temp reaching 90 today.
The first time I applied this product I did it in a 60 degree heated garage without sunlight for drying / curing time.
The results didn't provide 100% of what this product can do.
So I did it again exactly as the directions describe.
It does make a big difference I found out from others.

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
I took the car to a local car show yesterday, I had quite a few looks at the engine and the peoples who spoke to me knew what the car was. Naturally I was the only Crossfire there, my neighbor was there with the ‘98 Viper he purchased Wednesday.
It was hot yesterday and when I switched the AC on there was nothing happening. Then it came on and went off again, I smell trouble, maybe a bad connection in the AC control. I looked at the piston control when I installed my nav unit and every thing looked good.

Got the black roadster a few months ago but have only driven it 3 or 4 times. We are driving it to Eureka so today I swapped out the stock radio for a Kenwood, replaced the cup holder with a bin, replaced the low beam bulbs (one was burned out) and changed the oil and filter. While snooping around under the hood I saw a date tag on the battery dated Apr. 2011 so I went to Autozne and picked up an AGM battery and installed it. Now just need some detailing and we should be good to go.
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
thanks,
using grip grips research I bought parts for a clk55/slk55 from a junk yard, did rebuild kits, coating, wheel spacers, stainless lines.
the front 2 piece rotors are fairly reasonable from certain vendors. the rears not so much, one vendor, ceika, worldwide is all I could find.
by buying parts, coating, and rebuilding the calipers.. I am coming in less than most bbk's for front w solid rotors. I have 2 piece rotors all around.
with 6 piston fronts
4piston rears
and stickers …
don't forget the stickers

Buying parts and epoxy to fix the broken handle (driver's side) that came off yesterday. There is a fix here on the forum (with associated PDF walkthrough) and I'm going to give that a try. A replacement is going to be in the $220 plus range. Wish me luck.

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
If I added more thumb tacks in a squared pattern I could have the first quilted head liner in a Crossfire.
When is Norms party? I have lost track of the date.

Most likely the "seat relay"- do a search for instructions
