Just saying,
I've got a double garage here in SC. But I've got another "toy" parked in it and use the other half for car work. So the XFire stays outside under cover with minimal driving during winter season, which isn't all that bad down here in SC.

So my spider gears went bad on me :'( I could of rebuild the rear diff but it was to much, and I want a wavetrac lsd in the future, so I opted to buy a used one from LKQ, 70k miles on it for $250, plus 6 months warranty. While I am there I never really got a good look at the flex joint, and man those are bad. So I bought two new ones, $68 each from a company out in California.

Hopefully I'll have her put together on Saturday.

Mike

I had the rear bumper repainted. Had the windshield trim painted. Had the windshield replaced. Finally, I replaced both air filters. I'm thinking about changing transmission oil (MT) this Spring.

Check that the windshield trim is on securely as it is after people have had their windshields replaced that the Tom trim comes loose and is lost.

Was in Taiwan before the Holidays and brought back a nasty virus, (probably from the flight), so I've not done much lately other than spend money and read a lot of posts. I've got everything I need for the oil change, transmission service and radiator flush. I picked up an R170 wood wheel, but don't think I'm going to use it after looking it over (we'll see). Also received a motion sensing flasher for the 3rd break light (flashes faster the harder you break), and my paddle shift switches arrived. I also had a visit from Fed Ex yesterday to drop off my Quick Jack. I'll search out other posts and put my experience in a logical place, once I'm able to get back into the garage.

Today (and yesterday) removed and resealed the spoiler and rear decklid on the roadster. Once apart I could see where the factory sealant had shifted and let water in. Luckily it was a minimal amount and had not got anywhere near the vacuum pump.
I also pealed off the tape strip from the tonneau !, the tape was faded badly and no amount of product could keep it black for long, the cost of a new tape strip is 120$ so i broke out the heat gun and pealed it off. It looks so much better without the ugly strip of half faded tape on the tonneau.

New TPMS are here. I hope this goes smoothly. I refuse to disable the light and yea..running these tires anywhere near flat will kill the inner sidewall...I saw the rubber granules..(doing 85 on these was flirting with disaster)

Took advantage of warm weather (76F - new record for today) & washed the Coupe. Wiped her down "real good"!

Quite a lot actually

Removed factory intake and installed DIY dual inline CAI
Removed stock SC pulley and installed 65mm Polish pulley
Re-flashed ECU with Eurocharged tuned software to compliment the above

Tomorrow will hopefully install the HID conversion kit

Took silverfox in yesterday to rotate the front directional tires.
Found out insides of tires are shot, wearing really bad in inside edge.
They did a alignment check and front is good, my dsw's I put on last year on rear are about ready to need replaced already.
And they found a bent rim on the front
And a squeak is coming from the back possible sway bar bushing.

So looks like I will be looking at at a new set of wheels, tires, find the squeak and still need to figure out what killed my from tires.

The shop may be telling you the alignment is good but I think the tires are telling you something else. I would be reluctant to put on new tires until I knew for sure.

I watched the rim on the balancer.

I definitely going to do some digging and figure out the problem.
And don't know the alignment measurements they where going off of.
They said I had to go to a frame repair shop and pull my rear frame out to align the camber on the rear.
I laughed.
With the high camber on our cars, I been wanting to get a set of bent rear camber arms, but my tires wear descent.

Replaced 4 TPMS on the "rescue SRT" . No more light on the dash. 32.00 each x 4, 100 tire labor, 50.00 dealer programming fee. Next is same thing on the black SRT.
I used the Shrader 20028 sensors. I will not know which ones I need for the black SRT until I break down one of the tires.
