This was on the weekend but I ordered part#70769 and #71769 from H&R.
It was either go to All Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, PA ... or ... get those 2 parts and still attend a local GTG with wonderful crossfire owners...
Both options would have cost the same at the end of the weekend so that was not the deciding factor.
Should be at the store before next weekend!!!

Had Philips Chrysler in (SL)Ocala check out the front end on the SSB roadster and set the four wheel alignment that was waaay out of spec. KUDOS to their knowledgeable xfire tech...on steering anyway...KUDOS to their old school parts guy too. 😀KUDOS to this forum as well...thanks for all the help.

I removed the 11 year old dirty underside hood insulation
I have always kept the engine bay very clean but that liner was always an eyesore
The painted metal inside the hood looks much better without the insulation panel

Val,

Wouldn't that cause a heat concern?

My initial thoughts were the same but...........
I have read through many threads here on this subject and a lot of owners have removed it
As a matter of fact the base models did not even have them installed
Only real purpose for the insulation is to provide a sound barrier to quiet the engine sound outside the car

Installed my 3 piece grill from zunsport. Purchased through Red Dog. Great quality, good fit & simple installation.

That's looking GREAT Red Runner . . . Suggest you might use this to "black out" that center support behind the grille . . .

Installed my Lamin-X redout vinyl taillight overlays. They're more tedious to install than one might think but with the help of y girlfriend we were able to knock them out in about 15 minutes. A few small bubbles here and there but nothing too major.

Drove 120 miles roundtrip to get a nice embroidered set of floor mats for the roadster.

Painted my windshield surround black and re-installed. Blew one off on the way home from gas station so I'll be working on that for the next few days/weeks

Tires on the roadster we bought a few weeks ago are almost 7 years old, they rumble at low speeds, are hard and tramline terribly. Took the car in for a new set of Falcon 950 all season sport tires. The difference in the drivability was night and day. Bought a new steering stabilizer and want to get it installed and have an alignment done but the tires alone made a huge difference. Not sure yet if I like them better than the Hankooks on the coupe but am quite impressed so far.

Baby got a new pair of shoes. All around. Originals lasted 10 years with almost 50% remaining on pads.

Backed her out of the garage so I could get to my table saw. Let her run in the driveway for a bit. Put cool new caps on the tire valves and then later put her back in the garage. She's pushing nearly 16k total miles!
