That's exactly what I did after about my 3rd "hmm.. looking a little yellow again" polishing.. It's not quite as nice looking as a pristine polished light.. but I'm done scrubbing on them.

And I do like the extra protection from chips in the lenses!

Finally installed my Needswings DCAI. I also had the retune done with Eurocharged to account for the new mods. FUN!

I saw this on one of the auto shows this past weekend.

Dupli-Color :: Headlight Restoration Kit

It includes a clearcoat that has UV protection in it like what was applied at the factory.

That was my train of thought also. $60 to protect a $1500 set of headlights is cheap insurance, as well as preventing them from yellowing and clouding over again.

( saw your picture in valk's post, and here I was thinking I was probably the ugliest dude on the forum )

I had both of my headlights done by a company that specializes in this type of repair. The headlights came out like new. The person that did my lights told my to use carnuba wax on the headlights once or twice a year. He claimed that they will not yellow if I followed his advice. In addition, the Sam's club store (New Jersey) will do both headlights for around $39.00 and they will give you a five year guarantee.

I had mine tuned by Eurocharged Short of forced induction I think I'd say it's the best single "mod" I've done to a car, from a performance standpoint. I was surprised though, it even sounds different.

I use it on my headlights a couple of times a year. My old Scion tC, and this one... No problems thus far, and both were around a decade old...

xjken: Thanks for the info...sounds pretty reasonable...going to contact a local shop We....Thanks again...Carl

I took mine to the Quaker Steak and Lube Cruise. Talked to a few very nice people, one of which could not figure out why I had Mercedes Benz on my rear plate frame. He did not see the top part that says Powered By so I provided a quick history of the car.

I just did an oil and filter change, and changed the coolant.

I'm glad to hear about those shocks. I just bought them and haven't installed them yet.

Had a bit of a scare - battery died without warning when I parked the car grabbing some lunch. Top down of course, since I was leaving it for 5 minutes. Couldn't even get it to jump. Decide to move the cars close and reseat the jumper cables to make sure everything made good contact. Trying to assist, my girlfriend cross-connected the jumper cables on her side. I snatched them off very quickly. Pulled the battery, left the car, top down, and drove around calling places trying to find someone with a decent battery, in stock, that would fit. Batteries plus had a Duracell AGM in stock across town. Picked it up, dropped it in, fires up. Fortunately the only damage I've found as of yet was a blown amp fuse. Whew, dodged a bullet there.
