On a side note I had about 6 people stop tell me "nice car!" today. On was a redhead in a VW EOS with the top down. She turned all the way around in her seat to look at the car at a stop light. I'm assuming she couldn't tell what kind of car it was because later as I passed her she shouted "OH! Crossfire! Nice!" Good to see the XFs still get some looks!

Today while at work I got a phone call that my new key is at the dealer. I will go get it tomorrow morning (saturday) and program it myself :P

I ordered the key yesterday and it's here today. That's some stupid fast shipping and turnaround time they have at least!

Watched it sit on jackstands... again...

I cracked the back wheel on a rock sitting on the highway, Waited 3 weeks and paid 650 for a refurbished wheel shipped to northern Canada, then when the tireguys put it on they scratched all over the face of and gouged the sides of it. So now it sits for another week as they re-refurbish the wheel.

I'm starting to think my car is cursed or something

Awesome! Sounds like a stunt I pulled in my 944 years ago going from Columbia to Charlotte...

Mind you this was out of sheer boredom. Coupled with the fact that the highway was COMPLETELY empty in Chicago, something that happens very rarely.

Lol true, as with most things in life, there's anyways some risk involved but the car is made to be driven in my opinion, not looked at only lol.

The only downside for me was I lost the top portion of the windshield molding at 145MPH...other than that, it was exhilarating twice enhanced!!!!...Carl

I've been pulled so many times for speeding in NC that I vowed never to do it again. They hide everywhere and give no leniency. Almost as bad as VA.

Hmm... ~10 years in NC I think I got pulled once. 1 year in Indiana and I've been pulled 4 times. Bad luck for one of us I guess :\
