What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
I took my 2006 Crossfire to have the yearly North Carolina inspection done. I got back that she failed because the readiness monitors could not find the Catalyst, 02 Sensor Heater, EGR System, Evaporative System, and the 02 Sensor.
They told me to take her for a 100 mile run and bring het back.
On the second test the Heater Catalyst was not available and the Evaporative System was not completed, so she failed again.
Does anyone know what the problem may be with the on board computer system in the car?

The battery was disconnected last June to clean the cables.
How does one clear the codes?
As for miles, last Sunday I did the Blue Ridge Parkway rally and the Diamondback run.

I'd expect that to be more than enough... I'll let someone else chime in

Sure thing, I should have them wrapped this weekend. Heck, you're close enough I could wrap a few things for you.

Jason, and I'm just north of Charlotte.

Went ahead and performed the sticky key fix pre-emptively. Kind of a pain in the *** to do. Probably halve the time if I had to do it again. I also was going to do the RCM re-solder but the solder pads and component posts from the relay looked fine so I left it alone.

Washed the car, and cleaned the rims with a power washer to remove some of the brake dust caked on the inside of the rims. Man these things really are hard to clean ugh.
Anyway, Gary, don't you dare buy out all the startech spoilers lol! I want one too! :P

Only way I have found to really clean the wheels is to take them off, pressure wash them, then use Grease Lightening or Simple Green or Purple Power or whatever and a good medium stiff bristle brush, followed by a wash with normal car soap and mitt.
Let them dry, use some bug and tar remover, then use some cleaner wax.
