I came home from work and my shout out to the Rhineland was on the porch.

[QUOTE=Drawbar;795943]Dang! All the meets seem to be "back East" or Waaaaayyy down South. Maybe when I retire i can take the time to drive like 8000 Kilometers round trip to the Dragon

Where are you? I am sure someone will have a group - we have Northwest Crossfire Club up North and to the west! Washington, Oregon and Idaho and lots of members from other states and Canada. We also have the West Coast Crossfires from Canada and they are sending a convoy for the NWCC run May 24-26 in Yakima WA.

You can always come to the CAA #5 in Colorado this year. Looks to be the best turn out yet for this annual event with 38 cars signed up so far for the July 7-10th GTG in Rifle CO. We are centrally located close to everyone except Florida.....but a lot of participants are still planning on coming from that far away paradise. We'd really like to see you attend and see 1 of the places where you can be associated with the biggest gathering of crossfires in the northern hemisphere this year. There will be lots of events and drives through our Rocky Mtns and the town is closing Main street on Friday for us to park our cars so the locals can check out the xfires. We will have a BBQ on Thursday night and hand out some awards for attendees and door prizes donated to us for this event.

Thumbs up Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?

Had the mystery "no start" happen to me last week. The service engine light came on and didnt go out. Pulled the code and sure nuff, P0335. Crankcase Position Sensor. I purchased a CPS from Autohaus last year due to the recommendation from this forum. Spent 4 hours this past Sunday trying to fish and turn that hidden @@#%! screw underneath the CPS. It had seized and it wouldnt budge. I didnt want to incur any further damage to the screw head so a gave it a dose of Liquid Wrench penetrating oil and left it alone. The next day the screw turned with barely little effort. Took 10 minutes and Im back in business!. Woooo whoooo!

Advice for anyone who will be doing this in the future. Lift the hood to 90 degrees. Remove the heat shield (it will give you more room..but this is optional) Spray the screw head with liquid wrench first and go have a beer while it does its magic. Use a 1/4" E8 torx socket (magnetic preferred so you wont lose the screw) and a 1/4" drive ratchet wrench with a 6" extension.

The forum is priceless. Thanks Guys!!!

The yellow stripes and yellow trim under the rear bumper catch your eye, but are still subtle and not overpowering. Looks good.
Have you had to take any "heat" for your AMG emblem yet? Sometimes the guys that really have cars with AMG engines in them get a little testy when they see it on a car that can't back it up.

I've heard a few sound clips, nice sound. How's the drone? Or does the resonator help with that?

Ran a couple RCAs from the head unit back to the amp so I could use all four channels. WOW what a difference, thrilled to not be listening to the front door panels rattling and muddy bass. I was surprised to hear just how much the volume dropped. There's still enough power to cause distortion if I crank it up all the way though, so I figure that qualifies as more than enough.
