According to their add they didn't change the temp of the thermostat. "We've aimed to modify the stock thermostat to allow coolant to flow in before it is fully open, but still allow for cooling running temps.
We've left the stock opening temperature as to not interfere with the fan or heat." They say it changes from a 220* op temp to 180* -185*. That is a very good improvement.
