Looking like the next project might be a Subaru BRZ... not quick, but it has potential.
Finding a BMW 135 or 335 in a 6mt is proving to be a massive pain the ***!

My next vehicle will also focus more on handling than speed. A "fast" car can only be enjoyed when driving... fast. I love my SRT a lot, don't get me wrong. But I miss my Limited with the 6-speed. If I stomp the gas for more than five seconds, from any speed, I'm at the risk of going to jail (desolate highways excluded). And my Limited handled better, since it was lowered, lighter, and I could confidently mat the accelerator mid-corner. With the SRT, the traction-control kicks in at all the wrong times -- I HATED it on the Dragon's tighter corners.
The BRZ is a great choice, and the TRD guys are already developing a blower to bump the power a bit. Car and Driver did their "Lightning Lap" at VIR and said the BRZ was one of the few cars that could truly use more power, as they were able to keep the accelerator planted through the esses. They said it could easily handle 50-60 more hp.
As for the driving experience, I've heard nothing but praise. Light, tossable, manual gearbox, a proper navi system, perfect driving position, and HUGE aftermarket -- everything the SRT lacks.
I don't fault you one bit.

Car is sold, well I traded it in. Went to Subaru to lease a BRZ, and they happened to have a 2012 BMW 135i 6mt with the m package and nav. My new car

Congrats on the Bimmer, that is a serious M car. You did a beautiful job with the SRT. Keep us posted with what happens to the SRT and with what you do with the M. BTW what color is the new one.

Just curious, how much did you get for trade in? Im looking at possibly a 5.0 next year to have a different F-stock autocross car

The exceptional care and personalization add sginificant value to enthusiasts
but to a trade in book it is just one more, one more.
I am sorry it met that fate. I had just come across the pictures and noted the inventory of extras.
I hope it ends up with someone who appreciates all the work that went into and what a special car it seems to be.
I would also be interested to learn its fate.
